Aerofoil is a small free utility that can help you extend your Vista notebooks battery life by switching powerplans disabling aero and turning windows sidebar on/off.
These changes are essential in order to save your battery because Aero and windows sidebar need more graphics processing power than when they are switched off.
When you return to A/C power Aerofoil will automatically switch powerplans for you.
You can download Aerofoil here unzip it and instal it,a small configeration icon will appear in your system tray just right click on it to select the power options.
